Polyquaternium 7

Polyquaternium 7 is a water-based conditioning agent used in shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in hair products as well as bath and shower gels and body wash. Designed for use in surfactant based products, this liquid dries to form a protective barrier and seals in moisture, creates a silky soft feel, and prevents the negative effects of humidity on hair. When used in leave-in applications it provides good slip for detangling and imparts softness and shine.
