Soda Ash (Washing Soda)

Also known as Sodium Carbonate, Soda Ash is used in laundry products to soften water and increase the effectiveness of soaps and detergents. Also used to de-scale and clean coffee pots and in other cleaning products. Soda Ash is also used in many other processes, including glass making, textiles as a dye bonding agent, and in some food applications. Soda Ash is naturally derived, with most North American production being mined in a few large deposits found in the United States.
